VMD department’s aim is In line with the brand’s strategy and the guideline from the HQs, to optimize and maintain properly the brand visual merchandising in our stores in Japan, including sales occasions outside stores, such as department Gaisho events / pop up stores, in order to upgrade the brand image and maximize the sales.\n\nVisual Merchandising Assistant Manager supervise our stores under the following missions;\n\n- To manage and support visual merchandising in stores by the HQ guideline\n\n- To Train store staff on VMD\n\n- To make regular VM Reporting\n\n- To support Visual Merchandising Manager to define and implement the VMD strategy\n\nResponsibilities\nVisual merchandising guidelines for stores:\n\nTo create JAPAN VMD strategy together with Visual Merchandising Manager\n\nTo set up an optimized zoning and VMD plan in each store in cooperation with Sales Merchandising and Retail\n\nTo implement visual merchandising in each store with Store Manager and store VM referee\n\nTo monitor regularly the visual merchandising in each store through regular store visits and communication with Store Managers and store VM referee and give them advice/supports\n\nTo manage and follow the products launches in stores in cooperation with Sales Merchandising, Retail, and Communication\n\n \n\nTraining on VMD:\n\nTo train stores staff, especially store VMD referees, on visual merchandising to maintain properly the store VMD\n\n To make frequent and close communication with Store Managers and store VMD referees to give them advice for the improvement of their store VMD\n\n \n\nWindows:\n\nTo adjust the window plans made by the HQs and VM manager for each store in Japan depending on each location and stock availability\n\nTo support make the product rotations in windows with the store VM referee\n\n \n\nVMD community:\n\nTo work together with Visual Merchandising Manager for develop strengthening the VM community for the local referees\n\n \n\nReporting :\n\nTo make a regular report on VMD activities in Japan to the HQs and VMD manager\n\nProfile\nEducation & Professional experience :\nMinimum 5 years of experience in VMD\nMinimum 2 years of experience at Back office\n \nLanguages :\nJapanese native level & English basic level\n \nSpecific competencies :\nAbility to take initiatives and involve other teams to achieve the business results\nExcellent interpersonal skills and business communication skills\nAbility to take balance between coordination or daily operations and long term strategy\nAbility to take decision, anticipate, prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.\n \nBasic computer skills:\nPower Point, Excel, Teams, office
