Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience providing presentations and/or training sessions on the impact of employee engagement in a law enforcement work environment. Experience developing reports and/or recommendations to enhance and improve programs focused on employee wellness. Experience developing and/or implementing initiatives focused on employee morale, sense of belonging, or increasing employee satisfaction. Experience addressing workforce challenges based on relevant data or information to increase employee satisfaction. Experience with conflict resolution, performance management, or employee feedback systems. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities. **Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.**\n\nCorrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.\n\nProvides employee engagement guidance, advice, and support to Bureau of Prison's executive staff nationwide. Creates, leads, and implements effective engagement strategies that are unique to staff working within a correctional environment. Provides detailed analytical support to their supervisor and key managers within the Human Resource Management Division in making the most effective decisions regarding engagement priorities. Conducts follow-up evaluations to assess results of management directed actions and improvements to implemented strategies. Assists in the development and design of employee engagement strategies and actions related to the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey and other studies, data, focus groups, and surveys. Leads studies and projects related to strategic engagement activities, including development of methods for measuring program success and achievement of objectives.\n\nSee Qualifications Section for education requirements, if applicable.
