With strong analytical skills, this individual evaluates audit findings to maintain high-quality standards. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct a meticulous 100% reinspection of all garments that failed inspection due to stains daily. This entails determining whether the apparel meets market acceptability for rental, is suitable for thrift, requires collaboration, or needs to be returned for stain removal.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\nConducts final audit inspections according to company standards, including adherence to Nuuly's 16-point quality inspection guidelines.\n\nInspects garments that have passed initial inspection and are awaiting storage, ensuring they meet first-quality or market acceptability criteria.\n\nThoroughly examines garments, identifying and flagging defects.\n\nCommunicates all inspection findings transparently with Inbound leadership, ensuring alignment with quality standards.\n\nMaintains or exceeds quality and productivity standards set by the department.\n\nDemonstrates a positive attitude, flexibility, and professionalism in verbal and written communications.\n\nUtilizes scanning devices for inventory management.\n\nPerforms additional warehouse tasks as required.\n\nFosters a culture of teamwork through respectful interactions with colleagues.\n\nUpholds a safe and clean work environment.\n\nAssists in training new personnel and ensures compliance with departmental procedures.\n\nPerforms any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.\n\nRole Qualifications\n\nMust be 18 years or older\n\nHigh school degree or GED is preferred\n\n1 - 2 years of experience in garment inspection\n\nComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards\n\nKnowledge on different types of stains a plus\n\nUnderstanding the essential quality and construction of apparel (stitching techniques, measurements, etc.)\n\nAbility to assess product as 1st quality using set criteria and range of tolerances\n\nPossesses strong visual inspection skills, with the ability to discern color hue and shade variations consistently.\n\nDemonstrates comprehensive understanding of apparel quality and construction, including stitching techniques and measurements.\n\nExhibits sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.\n\nWorks effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.\n\nMaintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to see small details close up\n\nStand and walk throughout a shift \n\nClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods \n\nReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 55 pounds \n\nOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position which requires coordinated movements\n\nThe Perks\n\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
