Keep the front area stocked and fronted, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparation.\n\nBilingual candidates encouraged to apply.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n\n## Merchandiser\n\nGreet customers on sales floor, assisting them in location of merchandise or directs them to parts specialist if hard parts are needed.\n\nCheck in, price, and put up stock.\n\nKeep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean on a daily basis.\n\nMake display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, etc.\n\nMake all out-front price changes.\n\nMake sure all \"sale\" signs are in place, sales flyer rack is stocked, maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display.\n\nRemove all sale material when sale ends and restore original pricing.\n\nAssist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.\n\nWork with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.\n\nActs as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security.\n\nAssist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.\n\nClock in/out according to company policy.\n\n## Cashier\n\nCheck out customers purchasing front floor merchandise in a quick and friendly manner.\n\nHandle merchandise returns from customers in a friendly and efficient manner.\n\nWhenever express lane is not being utilized and the counter is busy, assist customers by finishing tickets, taking money, checks, and credit cards, etc.\n\nSKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES\n\n## Required:\n\nGood aptitude for dealing with number sequences, good interpersonal communicational skills, good organizational skills.\n\n## Desired:\n\nPrevious cashier and/or stocking experience.\n\nAbility to drive manual transmission vehicle.\n\nFluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).\n\nO’Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
